Our client is searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer with Hadoop experience for a project in Berlin.
The project:
- supporting a separate data team by bringing their use-cases and workloads to an Openstack cloud
- dual datacentre and switchover capabilities
- You will be concentrating on the architectural part of the product development itself including production-ready stability and performance analysis
- you will be shaping the architecture for new data-driven products
Your Skills
- Experience and proficiency in data automation and management, particularly Hadoop, HDFS and Spark
- Experience with Elasticsearch and Apache Cassandra
- Experience configuring cloud instances eg. AWS, Openstack or Azure
- Experience with configuration management (the client uses saltstack, puppet and ansible)
- Experience in managing and using data with relational databases, eg MySQL and Sqoop
- Fluent in English
- Experience with Git is a plus
