Principal High Speed Optical Device ResearcherOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Principal High Speed Optical Device Researcher to join their business in Germany.
Position Title: Principal High Speed Optical Device Researcher

Responsibilities:
- Leading the research and design of the key optical chips in the high speed PON system
- Joint innovation with academic or industry partners
- Lead related Prove of Concept prototype project
- Help to turn prototype into products Participate in planning and layout future PON's optical chips roadmap
- Delivery of proposals and standards contribution to standard organizations such as ITU-T Q2/SG15, FSAN, IEEE and BBF
- Participate academic conference, publish and present latest research achievements in conference or journal, such as OFC, ECOC, JLT, PTL, etc.
Qualifications:
- Semiconductor, optical, microelectronics, communication and other related major, master's degree or above (PhD degree is preferred)
- Experience in optical chips area, and successful project experience of design Photonic-Detect chips or Laser chips
- Profound knowledge and successful experience with optical chip designing, manufacturing, packaging, testing, and integration technology
- Profound knowledge and experience with high speed optics such as direct modulation/external modulation lasers, detectors, waveguide design and process, and/or coupling of optics and waveguides and package of optics in the field of optical communication
- Open mind, good communication and teamwork, and good presentation skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
