For one of our clients we are looking for an Infrastructure ConsultantProject overview
The client has decided to move forward with a new BI landscape that will replace the existing one, and needs to ensure that while the new BI Landscape is being developed and implemented, the existing landscape needs to be stabilized to ensure the continued feasibility of this environment until the new BI landscape is ready.
That means implementing all necessary changes and/or processes to ensure that the existing BI environment remains useable, performing and also compliant now and into the future until such a point where the environment can be decommissioned.
The entire BI Landscape is within the scope of the stabilization and the client will be covering required software version upgrades, various landscape optimizations, data quality checks and clean-up activities as well as the migration of the environment to the new domain.
Task Descriptions:
• Implement a BI Regression test environment
• Implement new TFS Branching Concept
• Implement 4 Tier landscape (Dev, Test, Pre-Prod, Prod) for application SCOUT
• SQL Sentry implementation for all BI applications
• Upgrade the entire BI Landscape to SQL2016 & Windows Server 2012 R2, including new domain move
• Migrate to SharePoint 2016
• Migration of BI Virtual Machines to other domain + Virtual Machine OS upgrades to latest version
