Beschreibung
Tasks:
- Support the ALMA Computing Team and interact with other Computing Groups in Europe, North America and East Asia
- Assist in the set-up of a Cassandra cluster to store and allow querying of time-series data sensors, at a rate of up to one per second)
- Improve the cluster, optimise the configuration, understand any issues und help to draft operational procedures
- Find the optimal schema to store the data in a performant, flexible way
- Modify client code for accessing the data
- Work would be preferred on-site, but remote is possible with at least one week visit in the headquarter
