Software Tester (f/m)We are an IT service provider for projects, expert leasing and personnel procurement. We work with around 800 employees for well-known and renowned enterprises.
For one of our clients in Celle we are currently looking for a Software Tester (f/m).
Aufgabenbeschreibung:
- Work in small groups of developers through complete software development cycle
- Perform software testing using both Manual testing and Automated testing methods
- Regularly participate in development of test plans, test case design and defect log preparation for daily testing
- Develop a deep understanding of client requirements and be responsible during the development phase for designing appropriate test cases to verify the software meets the customer requirements and performance specifications
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 3-6 years of rigorous software testing experience.
- Experience in developing test plan design and preparing test cases using systems such as MS TestManager.
- Experience in testing MS Windows based or web based applications.
- Experience in development of automated test suites using systems such as SmartBear TestComplete, HP QTP.
- Must have excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience in doing adhoc testing for immediate bug fixes.
- Works well in teams and independently, manages time well and makes quality decisions
- Experience in manual testing.
- Experience in automated test suite development using SmartBear TestComplete is a plus.
- Experience in test case design based on analysis of customer requirements.
- Experience in test case preparation for Windows applications.
- Some experience on SQL Server database testing for database testing.
- Active participant in software testing community with keen interest in the latest best software practices and trends.
- Experience working on a mixed discipline Agile / Scrum / Nexus product development team.
- Demonstrated ability to conform to programming standards and release protocols.
- Detail oriented
