Procurement Manager FTTX/OSPWe are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, for a Procurement Manager FTTX/OSP, to join their business in Germany.

Responsibilities:
- As regional procurement category manager, be responsible for overall purchasing strategy for /FTTX/OSP (outside plant) services and related materials, to achieve the target of reducing TCO, enhancing efficiency and transaction safety.
- Analysis internal requirement and the supplier markets to define the overall purchasing strategy for FTTX/OSP(outside plant) services, including planning, permitting, civil works, cabling, equipment installation and maintenance
- Closely cooperate with Service Sales and Technical departments to define the integrated Service Delivery & outsourcing strategy for FTTX/OSP(outside plant) projects
- Monitor the fulfillment status of responsible category of each country in the region. Give guidance and support, influence country delivery and procurement organization in Region to follow the regional strategy.
- Sourcing for new suppliers: maintain prefer supplier pool, manage the supply resource structure for responsible category. Maintain and extend cooperation with strategy suppliers.
- Analysis spending, internal requirement character, make requirement management baseline. Where possible push to combine requirement of different projects or countries to leverage on synergies from central purchasing.
- Collect and combine regional requirements, organize and handle the bidding for responsible category.
- Support and handle strategic, high amount purchasing project in countries for responsible category.
- Purchasing process control and optimization. Monitor the status of fulfillment in responsible category, insure current process is followed. And make optimization suggestion for current process, if necessary.
- Communicate with HQ colleagues for the category strategy, consider how to fulfill in local market.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Commercial / Finance / Supply Chain/Engineering/or related
- At least 5 year's work experience at Procurement, Project or Supplier Management for FTTX/OSP(outside plant) projects
- Have purchasing and/or commercial/ or technical experience in the field of FTTX/OSP(outside plant)
- Familiar with FTTX/OSP(outside plant) market in one or several WEU countries
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
- Excellent communication skills and social ability
- Fluent spoken and written in English
- Willing to travel within Europe
