IT Consultant-Storage / Backup Basic Infrastructure (m/w)

Aufgabenbeschreibung:
Our customer started the MATCH-DC Consolidation program. The aim of the program is to consolidate three datacenters into a single new one hosted by one global DC provider.
The two major work streams are 1. the setup of the target DC infrastructure and 2. the preparation
and execution of the application moves into the new location.
The candidate will have to support the architecture and implementation of basic infrastructure
for the storage domain (based on storage systems from different vendors and SAN Volume Controller for storage virtualization).
He also shall support the design and implementation of a backup system at the new location (based on CommVault Simpana).
A strong technical background in the related storage virtualization technologies (SVC) for block based storage as well as knowledge of NAS systems (EMC Isilon) is a must.
In addition it is required to have a deep knowledge of data replication mechanism for migration of data and for setting up the DR environment.
