Tasks
• Design, enhancement and maintenance of a reference data web-application in collaboration with the business analysts and the specification team.
• Unit-testing of own software.
• Production of the necessary documentation.
• Conducting documentation and code reviews.
• 2nd level support of the applications.
Requirements
• College or university degree (FH, eidg. Diplom).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience (including graduate studies) with complex software systems.
• Very good skills in object-oriented system development and unit testing in general and Java, JavaScript, Hibernate, Linux, Oracle in particular.
• Linux system administration and scripting skills (PERL) are an advantage.
• Scala skills are considered as a plus.
Soft Skills
• Analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Planning- and organisational methodologies.
• Problem solving and decision making techniques.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken. Good knowledge of German is an advantage.
