My client is a leading Global IT & Digital Consultancy, who are in the market for an experienced German-Speaking SAP PP Techno-functional Consultant, to join their project team in Mannheim, on a long-term contract basis!
The criteria for the role is as follows:
- A solid mixture of both Technical and Functional experience as an SAP Consultant.
- Comprehensive knowledge & experience in implementation of SAP-R3 (PP Module) for production operations to do with Planning and In-process Inspection.
- You must have exposure to SAP for Demand Management, MRP and MPS, Production Control, Capacity Planning, Repetitive Mfg., Logistics Information systems (LIS), Shop-Floor Information systems, Variant Configuration, Serial number.
- Prior experience of Integration with MM/QM/SD/FI and CO modules.
- Master Data knowledge of: Material Master (MRP Type, Procurement Type, Schedule Margin Key, Planning Strategy, Availability Check, Lot Size), BOM etc.
- Extensive experience of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) at plant and MRP controller Level. Customization of MRP groups, scheduling margin key, MRP types, Work Centre (Std Value Key, Control Key, Capacity, Scheduling and Work Centre Formulas)
- Solid understanding of business processes and preparing Bill of Material, through BOM usage and Item Category. Setting up Bill of Materials, Single/Multi Level BOM, BOM Group and assignment to different plants.
- QM Knowledge would be also be advantageous.
- Fluent in German, both oral and Written (Mandatory).
