For a client project in Hamburg I am currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer.Location: Hamburg, Germany
Start date: 01.11.2016
Duration: 12 months ++
Languages: fluency in English and German
Tasks to perform:
- Provides in-person analytical and technical support for the installation, repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, modifications and enhancements to individual workstations, personal computers, related hardware and software
- Will provide similar support for Apple devices and smart phones.
- Troubleshoots software and hardware questions, issues, problems and failures with workstations, personal computers, related hardware and software; this may include more complex and challenging matters that require research and initiative to resolve
- Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up actions.
- Assists with office moves, consolidations, and closures.
Desired skills:
- fluent German
- conversational English
- proficience in Microsoft Client technilogies
- very good communication skills
- experience in large companies
