Experience in managing the Data Protection projects in a large multinational organization preferably in the retail or sports market sector

Business/legal/compliance background

Strong executive stakeholder management experience

Ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels

Requirements

  • Management of the end-to-end delivery of the projects portfolio, including scoping, planning, executing, and monitoring of the time, cost and quality aspects of projects within the portfolio. The role is responsible for overall delivery, budget and schedule project portfolios
  • Demonstrable track record of hands on delivery of large scale, complex business led transformation projects
  • Strong previous experience of delivering projects in a creative and fast paced environment
  • Remaining calm under pressure and thinking clearly to address difficult problems such as conflicting agendas, budget over run, poor initial estimating and benefits management
  • Working effectively with third party suppliers by building good relationships and controlling them to deliver to quality, time and budget.
  • Effectively managing project stakeholders
  • Strong executive stakeholder management experience and the ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels

Description:

  • Creating detailed project charters and resourced plans for projects, identifying areas such as critical path and key project dependencies, and ensuring functional leaders satisfy skills or resource gaps
  • Managing risk within projects, identifying major risk drivers, their potential likelihood and impact, and implement necessary mitigation measures
  • Effective communication - Ensuring all stakeholders receive timely and ample information on project status, and generate regular management reports
  • Managing Programme and project inter-dependencies, ensuring efficient and effective use of time and resources
  • Planning and managing the program budget and third party contributions and costs, and monitoring the expenditures and costs against delivered and realised benefits
  • Ensuring that the delivery of new products or services from the projects is high quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan and governance structure
  • Contributing to the preparation and review of key project management documentation such as OPBCs, business requirements documentation, cost models, project charters, test plans, etc.
