Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

für unseren Endkunden suchen wir ab sofort externe Unterstützung.

Our client currently offers multiple Energy Management Solutions to his customers. Today, these solutions are operated on different IT platforms and are delivered to the customer via different propositions and applications.
The project aims to perform a wider strategic review of winning energy management propositions to be targeted in the market and to identify the critical success factors to deliver a best in class solution on the market. Armed with this knowledge, the client would like to conduct a gap analysis of his existing offerings and define a strategic roadmap to launch best in class solutions on the market.

1) Define the TO-BE: Identify winning propositions, identify the best-in-class solutions in the market and understand critical success criteria
• Assess the competitive edge of identified energy management products, the offering and pricing structure
• Based on the market view of what is best in class and the targeted client solutions offering derive the strategic target IT architecture.
• Next to the strategic recommendation also provide a comprehensive list of success criteria such as:
o Modularity of platform / ease of integration of solutions (both internal & 3rd party solutions)
o Ease of integration to customer environment and associated data security
o Sophistication of data analytics
o Availability & ownership of data to the client
o Sophistication of module for process automation
o Intellectual Property and platform ownership (control)
o Flexibility
o Scalability
o Cost of O&M / Total cost of ownership
o Certification of platform, applications & associated processes
o Delivery models (e.g. only SaaS or running in own Data Centre)
o Dependency to SW-supplier (e.g. technical support, programming capacities, own IP)

2) ASSESS THE AS_IS: Perform a short-term diagnostic of selected existing internal IT platforms and applications based on the recommended criteria that need to be fulfilled to be best in class.
• This diagnostic should identify the critical capabilities of the following platforms:
a) Energy Efficiency Platform
b) CMO Digital platform
• And the following internal applications:
a) Smart View 2
• Benchmark these internal IT platforms and applications against the criteria to be best-in-class solutions in the market and conduct a gap analysis

3) THE ROADMAP: Define a strategic roadmap to deliver market leading energy management solution to the market.
• Identify all possible options to develop and deliver such a solution
• Also estimate the effort in terms of time, cost, resources, deliverables for each of the identified options
• Provide a recommendation on the choice of these options
• The result should provide answers to the following questions
• Strategic target: What is required to be best in class Energy management solutions on the market? What should be the target offering? How does that translate into IT platforms/architecture?
• As-Is analysis (platforms): Which platforms are in place at the client? What do they do? How do they score against the requirements to be best in class?
• Moving forward: Based on the strategic target and our starting point, what are the options moving forward? What is your recommendation?

Skills:
• Excellent understanding of the Energy Management Solutions market including best practices, latest trends & technologies and competitors
• Senior IT architect with proven expertise in IoT enables Energy management solutions and systems
• Experience in driving short term technical diagnostic studies based on predefined comprehensive criteria set
• Experience in conducting benchmarks and gap analysis of software solutions
• Ability to derive clear strategic recommendations from market and technology assessment
• Structured approach with well-defined activities, milestones and deliverables
• Seniority and technical know-how to drive and manage the senior stakeholders with the intention to be perceived as a trusted technical advisor
• Business fluency in English

Start: ab sofort
Ende: bis 30.09.2016 + Option auf Verlängerung
Stundenkontingent: 30 Stunden offsite, 120 Stunden Onsite und 20 Stunden Reisezeit.
