Expected key deliverableso Manage administrative tasks for our Oracle BIEE environment
o Monitor system health in terms of growth, usage and performance in DEV, QA, PROD instances and provide monthly statistics
o Co-ordinate with other stakeholder teams (ETL Support teams, DB support team, Project teams) to effectively resolve application issues impacting the servers
o Adopt and Drive best practices and standards across the environment
o Co-ordinate patch upgrades, bug fixes and other product support issues / escalations with Oracle
o Co-ordinate Application testing and Verification during database upgrades, server Upgrades
o Manage access and security process for the application involving Business IM approvers
o Follow and advocate ITIL processes for Incidents, Problems, Change Requests and Service Requests
o Maintain communication with User community (updates, notifications etc.)
Skills and expertise requirements
Must Have:
o Hands-On experience of OBIEE Administration and System Architecture
o Hands-On experience of Oracle DB (SQL, PLSQL)
o Effective Communication Skills in english
o Problem solving Skillso Ability t
o foresee critical issues and own Resolution
Advantages/Nice to have skills:
o Knowledge of Oracle Exadata
o Knowledge of Predix/ Cloud Concepts
o General understanding of other BI technologies such as Reporting and Data Integration Tools
o Ability to remain updated about latest technology additions in Oracle BI space
o Certified lean/Six Sigma Green Belt
