Network Engineer

We are currently recruiting for our client, ?a prestigious telecommunications company ?to support their project in Germany.
Position Title: Network Engineer
Position Type: perm
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Fixed term contract with further extension
Location: Frankfurt a.m

Requirements:
- Responsible for the management , operation and maintenance, protection of our client’s backbone IP networks SDH / DWDM transport networks and other business networks
- Assisting overall planning, optimization of MAN and defining the products standards, preparing relevant specification documents
- Responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Responsible for monitoring the quality of Internet applications , analysis, optimization
- Responsible for conducting and modifying troubleshooting norms, difficult troubleshooting cases analysis as well as major faults emergency plan.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above in computer science, telecommunications or relevant areas
- At least 2 years working experience in System integration or network operation and maintenance from IT industry or more than 1 year experience in backbone network operation and maintenance.
- Desirable to have CCNP/CCIE certifications
- Familiar with IP routing and switching technology, understand SDH, Ethernet, IP, MPLS VPN, QoS
- Experience in network planning and optimization using Cisco, Huawei or Juniper equipment is preferred
- Knowledge about Linux operating system
- With a strong sense of responsibility, positive work attitude, good learning ability
- English and German fluently,
- Short­term business travel within Europe is required.
