Tasks:
-Support and providing guidance for the professional in 1st Level IT Support in solving problems in all regions (EMEA, APAC; AMER)
-Introduction, installation, administration and maintenance of the IT infrastructure gem. Standard processes with IT Management
-Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of the global network to ensure maximum availability and performance
-Further development and ensure global standards LAN, WAN and WLAN infrastructure and assisting in improving IT processes and services
-Support the improvement and implementation of IT standards
-Participation in international IT projects
Primary Skills Required:
-Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a preferably globally operating IT organization and corresponding developments as CCNA, CCIE or equivalent
-Deep knowledge in network topologies and technologies, as MPLS, VPN, proxy, VoIP, WLAN, VLAN, firewall, DMZ, SSL, PKI, Riverbed, DSL, NAT, NAC, etc.
-Implementation of complex network analysis, capacity management and needs assessments
-Planning and implementation of version and system changes, taking into account ensuring the high availability operation
-Containing and neutralizing disturbances in complex, global networks, also in the case of escalation
-Experience in the implementation, documentation and operational support of complex IT infrastructures
-Experience in dealing with external IT suppliers and service providers and their service organizations
-Good technical IT infrastructure knowledge, focusing on a global IT infrastructure technology
-High degree of customer orientation combined with a strong service commitment
-Ability to professional and problem-solving collaboration with other people of all IT and business sectors
Education:
-University degree in computer science (Bachelor, Master) or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certificates
Languages: Excellent English (Must) and German (Nice to have)
