OSS Tech lead in Munich

1. OSS Domain knowledge and Hands on Experience with one of the following for more than 3 years:
a. Inventory/ CM: Cramer APIs in Java, PL/SQL. Minimum of 2 years of experience in test-driven development.
i. Oracle 10g database, TOAD 8.6+ or similar. JMS, WebServices, XML Technologies (SOAP, JAXB, WSDL, XML BEANS). Application development skills using BEA
b. GIS : Map integrations (Google/ Esri/ OS maps), ESRI ArcGIS tools, MapInfo Desktop tools, Dot Net Technologies, Java scripts, Web Map services
c. PM: EMS/ NMS integration, Performance counters/ KPIs, ETL processes, Unix scripting, Aggregation/ filtrations
d. CEM: Probing solutions, Mobile technologies, Protocol/ Call tracing, Experience one of COTS CEM tools like Tektronix, IBM/ TNF, Huawei etc.
e. FM: Exposure to Alarm configurations/ management, Used one of FM COTS projects like HP Openview, Netcool etc., SNMP MIB knowledge
f. Perform delivery and other activities to help grow Aricent Service Lines in the Digital CSP (Mobility, Analytics, Virtualisation and Security etc.) and next generation OSS domain
i. Suggest / support / lead delivery of client WOW POC’s to Aricent’ s clients
ii. Improve customer relations through proactive initiatives
iii. Leverage successful client case studies
iv. Develop new value creation proposals as part of the client Digital Transformation and Evolution Initiatives

2. The role may also require the successful candidate to support other customers and projects and to potentially broaden their expertise areas to cover other OSS/BSS solution areas not just one of the above.

4. Main Responsibilities
a. Contribution to High Level design
b. Production on Low Level designs including connectivity/ communication matrix
c. Understanding of business and technical requirements
d. Support for system and operations acceptance testing
e. A firm knowledge and understanding of IP concepts as well as Ethernet
f. Participate and Drive (as and when required) client engagements:
i. Gather / collate and confirm customer requirements
ii. Define the scope of client engagement
iii. Participate (lead if required) client engagements
iv. Identify relevant Aricent assets, create new assets from successfully deliveries
v. Define metrics and success criteria
vi. Develop internal & customer business cases
vii. Perform customer stakeholder analysis
viii. Prepare customer proposals and participate in client presentations
ix. Participate in customer meetings and discussions
x. Participate in client process related activities
xi. Identify potential external partners
g. Support up-selling and identification of adjacent client opportunities
h. If required, participate in delivery projects, managing risks and time within assignment scope and according to defined performance targets
i. Support developing capabilities for consulting and Systems Integration in the Digital CSP Domain
j. Adapt generic stage#0 decks to customer specific conversations and presentations
k. Participate in client presentations
