Quality Assurance Engineer - Cologne - 9 Month Contract - €65 per hourOptimus Search are currently in partnership with a market leader in the development of medical technology to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to be based in Cologne. Competitive rates are on offer as well as the opportunity for extension within a leading medical devices company. The inital contract will run for 9 months, with extension discussed ahead of the complete duration.
Responsibilities
- Supplier management (selection, qualification, evaluation)
- Define and implement quality standards ensuring quality objectives are met
- Planning and conducting supplier audits
- Support suppliers in the validation/qualification in terms of compliance with relevant standards (FDA, CMDR, ISO 13485)
- Support purchasing with respect to quality issues (ECO's, material specification, risk analysis)
Experience
- Strong background in quality assurance within the medical devices industry
- Internal, External and Supplier auditing experience
- Good knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA
- Masters Degree educated within a relevant field
- Fluency in English
