Project Manager (with Vendor Management experience) #?
Location: Munich, Germany
Start date: /Duration: 7 months initially
Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with solid experience of working with Vendors to work on a project in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT contribution on the organisation's side (infrastructure, environments, desk side roll out, implementation of interface changes, etc.)
- Manage PEGA resources
- Responsible for IT Vendor management
- Coordinate with Program Management and Front Office
- Review of business requirements, functional requirements/add non-functional requirements
- Project planning, resource planning, project budgeting and costing
- Experience on previous projects with scope, issue, dependency, escalation, risk management and stakeholder management
- Manage project contracts/invoices incl. sign-off of external hours
- Project Monitoring and reporting
- Order project related hardware
- Coordination IT sign-offs
- Ensure SDLC/PMLC compliance
- Support pre-studies/create pdd's
Required skills/experience:
- Previous experience managing transformation projects
- Experience in application development and transformation projects
- Sound knowledge of project management processes
- Able to adapt project management processes and Solution Delivery Processes to a particular project
- Able to manage scope, with or without Insurance know-how
- Strong capability of relationship building and managing on a peer-to-peer basis
- Proven ability to manage complexity
- Experience with PEGA implementations
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Financial/Insurance Industry background a major plus
Language
German (native/fluent), English (fluent)
Contract
The contract duration is for 7 months initially with likelihood of extension.
