SAP Basis Administrator - Project Support UNICODE Migration
Tasks and Responsibilities
you will support our application development team and those responsible for UNICODE migration external service provider. Answer questions of SAP infrastructure (IBM Power8, EMC SAN, AIX, TSM) and SAP Basis. Be responsible for the Installation & Operation of VIOS and AIX LPARS within the UNICODE migration. Provid and implement SAP software according to specifications. Handle monitoring and performance tuning as part of the migration process. Provide troubleshooting assistance and execute a backup & restore using TSM.
Requirements
Excellent IBM infrastructure including VIO and AIX knowledge. Several years of professional experience in the field of SAP Basis. Certification as SAP Basis Administration. Good knowledge of Oracle administration and tuning. Experience in the context of UNICODE migrations are beneficial. Good understanding of infrastructure issues such as computer systems, virtualization, network, SAN storage. Independent, structured and process-oriented approach. German (native) and good knowledge of English
