Key responsibilities:• Analyse business processes, specify related IT requirements and define test cases.
• Act as the interface between business users and development/support team.
• Act as first and second level support for statistical applications.
• Manage IT projects and assume related budget responsibility.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
• University degree in a statistical, economics or IT-related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or application development.
• Experience using statistical software packages, relational databases, and/or programming languages (e.g. MATLAB, R, C#, JAVA, PERL, SQL Server).
• Familiar with the exchange, compilation and quality control of statistical data.
• Experience with software development and testing methodologies and tools, in particular agile methodologies.
• Experience in managing software development teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
