Project Description and Context

The overall project goal is the implementation of MIFID II OTC Reporting Tool. Initiated by the MiFID II
regulation my client aims to implement a reporting hub bundling several reporting services for customers mandating my client to take over their reporting duties. One of these reporting services is the new MiFID II OTC Reporting (APA service). Purpose of the OTC reporting service is to offer for investment firms and systematic internalizers the publication and reporting (to national regulators) of OTC trades and OTC quotes according to the MiFID II rules and related regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

The PMO is responsible for the support of classical project management tasks from initiation until the
closing of the project. In addition support and coordination of test activities and service implementation is required.

*Controlling of requested budget transfers and updating of business case accordingly
*Allocation of cost to appropriate PSPs
*Allocation and comparison of booked hours; identification of delta
*Monthly cross-check of actuals and if necessary adjustments of actuals
*Comparison of primary costs with MIS and input sheet
*Comparison of Cash-out with requested budget
*Tracking of liabilities (obligos)
*Create respective reports
*Support the Release/Project Manager in obtaining the Production Launch Statement sign-off and in producing the post implementation support list taking into account the Service Implementation/Organizational readiness stream
*Prepare handover document for Release/Project Manager with non-handed over tasks for each project organisation stream

Qualification:

Project management methods should be known and ideally have been used in former projects (such as PMI or IPMA).

Additional requirements:

*University degree in business studies or comparable qualification
*Upper understanding of Project Management Methodologies
*Experience with budget management and effort/cost estimations
*High commitment and motivation, distinct readiness to take on responsibility
*Ability to work under pressure and high degree of reliability/flexibility
*Very good communication skills, empathy and the ability to work in an international team
*Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, sound understanding of database systems (eg SAP) knowledge of Microsoft Project, Lotus Notes and Clarity is an advantage
*Basic functional knowledge about MIFID II will be a plus
*Project language is English. Thus, written and spoken German and English is required.
