Solution Systems Engineer

Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Solution Systems Engineer to join their business in the Germany.

Position Title: Solution Systems Engineer
Position Type: 2 years fixed term
Start Date: March 2016

Responsibilities:
- Providing customers with key DOCSIS technical solution a pre-sales environment
- Providing highest level of quality pre-sales technical support, understand the issues or pain point of specified MSO operator, help customer to aware them, and design a the convincing technical solution to solve them , and help customer to define the network architecture via HLD/LLD network designing, to transfer the right scenario and requirement for solution and products R&D team
- Track and check the solution and production realization of R&D team in wideworld and assure the right implementation
- Creating relationships with key technical customer personnel and be trustable partner
- Having the ability to position product and solutions in favor of competitive products/solutions
- Responding to Customer RFIs and RFPs with the highest standards of quality
- Creating content for different architectures and product solutions (internal and external)
- Driving customer requirements in cable Product Management and Engineering
- Coordinating with other staff across functions, i.e., Product Management, Customer Support and Engineering, to resolve problems and manage customer requirements and projects

Qualifications:
- Designing or maintaining architectures for: HFC Networks, IP Networks, Digital Video(DVB-C), DOCSIS Networks, Telecom Networks
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
- 5-7 years related experience providing technical pre-sales support, technical/commercial/marketing presentations and driving high/low level designs in a pre-sales environment supporting sales initiatives
- Able to draw from a wide range of skills and a broad technology base to complete tasks
- Familiar with technical product, standard and solution specifications and be able to point out the specific technical merits of one product/solution over another, and do so convincingly
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Able to travel 50-75% of the time in EU different country
