Research expert of DOCSIS relate technologyOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Research expert of DOCSIS related technology to join their business in Germany.
Position Title: Research expert of DOCSIS relate technology
Position Type: 2 years fixed term
Start Date: March 2016

Responsibilities:
- Technology Research in areas:
-- DOCSIS MAC layer technology, include DBA scheduler algorithm, cable modem management, DOCSIS DCC, channel bonding and management, the service flow management
-- RF technology, include modulation/demodulation, amplifier, optical-coax converter, spectrum management, power management, RF quality management
-- Packet cable technology, include code/decode, signaling, COPS QOS
-- Digital video technology, include DVB-C, VOD architecture on HFC
-- Management of DOCSIS system, include the IT/OSS system of MSO, performance management, alarm/fault management, the Operation/maintenance, reliability
- Research, prototype, verification, transfer this technology to R&D
- The standard contribution or patent is also need to consider during the research
Qualifications:
- Rich experience in designing or maintaining architectures in one of the following area:
-- DOCSIS MAC layer technology, include DBA scheduler algorithm, cable modem management, DOCSIS DCC, channel bonding and management, the service flow management
-- RF technology, include modulation/demodulation, amplifier, optical-coax converter, spectrum management, power management, RF quality management
-- Packet cable technology, include code/decode, signaling, COPS QOS
-- Digital video technology, include DVB-C, VOD architecture on HFC
-- Management of DOCSIS system, include the IT/OSS system of MSO, performance management, alarm/fault management, the Operation/maintenance, reliability
- R&D experience in cable system/product/components vendor, e.g. FPGA, software, firmware, chipset, architect
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Familiar with relevant technical product, standard and solution specifications
