I am currently looking for a Temporary Finance Accountant for a global acting german pharmaceutical company in the area of Frankfurt, Germany.German is not necessary.
The company participates in projects of the "Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI)" aiming to speed up the development medicines for patients. IMI is a joint undertaking between the European Union and the pharmaceutical industry association EFPIA. For a short period you will be responsible for the correction of the financial reporting of EU IMI projects retrospectively as well as for the availability of accurate and key financial information per project in the current period.
Your role as a short term Finance Accountant:
- Due to process changes introduced in 2014 and 2015 corrections of the financial reporting need to be done for every reporting period. Receive your financial information out of SAP (CO/PS) and GAUSS.Finance
- Communicate with Merck project leaders, Merck IMI Coordinators and Finance. - Fill in the official forms the aggregate new financial figures and receive the confirmation of Merck project leaders/Finance.
- Generate the financial reporting/adjustments for the financial reporting periods concerned and receive the confirmation from Merck project leaders/Finance.
- Track Merck global projects and review the internal/external costs, identify inaccuracies and variances.
- Further support for the External Innovation Managers and Finance. Requirements:
- Advanced planning and tracking skills with attention to detail. - Reliable. - Ability to find and implement practical solutions
- Excellent computer skills (advanced Excel including pivot tables and use of formulas. - SAP skills especially in the stream PS and CO.
