1 Tasks and responsibilities1.1 Key tasks and responsibilities for the project organization area
The Delta KPI Acceptance team is responsible in the acceptance process and tuning for the radio performance of the newly installed RBS600 in the Vodafone network.
The acceptance is based on OSS counters (KPI). Those KPIs are analysed in our off shored back office and put into KPI-reports. Also this back office is performing a Quick Check of the RBS after swap and proposing tuning measures for each site/cluster.
The owner of this role needs develop tuning proposals for the swapped network elements which are not covered by the off shored team. Goal is to bring the swapped network elements back on same performances as it had before the swap.
• Analyze failed KPI-reports and Quick Check reports
• Talk to Ericsson deployment responsible and ASP to identify installation errors (e.g. swapped feeder)
• Prepare tuning measures which can be presented to Vodafone
• Support the Regional Lead for KPI Acceptance in his argumentation towards Vodafone
• Interface back office reading all radio performance issues and radio network planning issue
1.2 Other tasks
• Join regional and Delta status meetings
• Conduct meetings with Vodafone optimization engineers
• Reporting towards the project with respect to KPI & Optimization
• Work for our back office in Düsseldorf and India
2 Role requirements
2.1 Qualifications & experience
• Knowledge and experience in Radio Network Planning and Optimization for GSM, WCDMA, LTE
• Courses recommended
o Overview GSM/GPRS, WCDMA/HSPA, OSS-RC
o RAN Software and features of GSM G14, WCDMA W14
• Good process knowledge about all NRO (network rollout) processes
• Good understanding of database management, radio network planning and optimization tools and field measurement tools
• >5 years’ experience in NRO/KPI & Tuning projects
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel, MS Access
• Very good understanding of Ericsson way of working in KPI & Tuning domain
• Very good English communication skills
• German knowledge would be the perfect add on skill
2.2 IS/IT tools and access
• Microsoft Office Applications
• EriDoc, EriColl and LAN access to department and projects specific drives and workgroups
• Ericsson tool suit (e.g. ERA, ECO, ITK)
• TEMS tool family (e.g. TMS discovery, TEMS investigation)
• SQL Databases and SQL Access (e.g. MS Access)

• Excellent communication skills
• Professional in documentation of the work done
