We are currently assisting a Global Leader in their search for an Optical Transmission Engineer.
As a Optical Transmission Engineer you will be responsible for activities such as:
- Technical interface for WDM roll-out
- Auditing of sites before migration to WDM overlay network
- Ensure completion of all roll-out activities from installation, commissioning and documentation
In order to successfully become a Optical Transmission Engineer you must actively demonstrate:
- Background within Optical WDM deployment and commissioning
- Excellent knowledge of networking technologies such as CWDM, DWDM, ROADM and OTN
- Good knowledge of fiber
- Multi-vendor background to include - Ciena, ADVA, Ericsson, ECI or Huawei
