IT Facilities Manager Banking Data Centre Operation Frankfurt Germany
A superb opportunity working at a Global Tier 1 Investment Bank
- Real-world experience with IT Facilities for large organisations (preferably Financial/Banks)

Experience of working with branches/countries outside main hubs (ie not only used to central data centres we are working with smaller countries/branches and therefore an understanding of scalability, physical space restrictions, appreciation of cost limitations, etc. are needed)

Good project management skills (this is a key work stream, and an organised person to structure and drive the plan & execution)

Strong technical knowledge in relation to Data Centre operations power consumption, cooling, fire prevention systems, monitoring, etc. (You will liaise with partners in the Real Estate org, and deal with Vendors, and therefore must understand the technical details and sense when things do and do not add up)

Good communicator, able to keep management up-to-date with actual status, able to articulate issues promptly and clearly, and able to identify and highlight risks (with a measure of probability and impact, so that management can make an informed decision on how to address them).
