We are looking for a Data Engineer to help us with the data hub, analysis applications, marketing and Railmate projects. The achieved higher transparency enables faster detection and elimination of shortcomings in the provision of services and new insights into customer needs are gained. A ML cluster and an Amazon cloud-based architecture for processing large amounts of data were developed to process a wide variety of data pools (customer feedback, telephony, workload, occupation, etc.). Various data warehouses and ETL routes have been developed to process the collected data.You will assist with the further development of the DWHs, the efficient and secure use of the DWHs in the AWS Cloud, as well as the new development of reporting components and the operation of the Microsoft SQL Server landscape. You will also be conceptualizing and implementing data flows/data preparation/reports/exports using MSSQL and SSIS/SSRS as well as Apache NiFi. Additionally, you will work on requirements in the form of epics, features and user stories and create technical documentations. You should be able to also organize and implement workshops.

Experience:
• Conception, design and development of BI systems/architectures or DWH environments, in particular with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or newer versions / AWS RDS.
• Conception, design and development of ETL routes, reports and DWHs based on SSIS/TSQL/SSRS and Apache Nifi.
• AWS, especially MSSQL Server based on RDS or EC2.
• Methodological competence for data, process and ETL modelling including associated tools.
• Operational management of database applications, starting with ETL routes through data preparation steps to rule exports/outgoing interfaces.
• Agile software development
• Administration of SQL Server databases
• Development with Visual BI analytics tools such as QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau
