Onsite Technical Coordinator
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interface between the Sales and the Customer Technical team to convert technical discussion to new engagements
• SPOC between the Customer(s) and the Offshore Project Manager(s)
• Extensively interact with the customer to understand the new programs / projects, timelines and identify possible work content for outsourcing
• Closely work and help Customer to identify work content for outsourcing in a work package or T&M mode
• Interact with multiple offshore Domain Heads to map new requirements
• Responsible for delivery and transactional discussions with Customer(s) in close coordination with Offshore Project Manager(s)
• Ensure process and practices are set to enable project deliveries with acceptable quality criteria maintaining client satisfaction
• Monitor deliveries as per the agreed customer milestones
• Generate weekly and monthly reports to appraise status to Senior Management
• Participate in developing strategy for business growth from technical aspect and market requirements
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE
• Proven work experience as a key customer connect for Technical discussions
• Strong knowledge in Automotive product development process and practice
• Through knowledge on key phases of product development
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements at system and vehicle level
• Prior experience to respond to RFIs & RFQs
• Experience in preparing techno commercial proposals for customer engagements
• Exposure on the supplier management activities
• Working experience in use of CAD tools & MS Office Tools
• Excellent communication, Presentation and Project Management skills
• German speaking skills will be an added advantage
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Production Engineering
EXPERIENCE BAND
7 to 9 years of experience in Automotive Engineering Service Industry
