For our client in Berlin (remote) we are looking for a Fire, Health and Safety Specialist (f/m/d)Start: Mid August 2021

Description:
Our client wants to build a new Warehouse in Germany and needs an expert for fire, health and safety requirements within the planning, permission and eventually ramp-up phase.
Logistics Network Development ( Name of the department)
Requirements:
- Validation of Escape Routes - Intralogistics & Building
- Validation of Fire Protection Concept
- Material Flow and Handling of Hazardous materials Validation (Beauty)
- Storage for Hazardous materials Validation (Beauty Cages or Beauty compartments)
- Validate intralogistics against local regulations (Germany)
- Final check of approval layouts in Engineering Phase
Building Requirements ( The following points must be fulfilled at the end of the project):
- Signages, fire/emergency escape plan and equipments (such as Extinguishers if needed)
- Emergency alarm buttons (if needed)
- Emergency contact numbers
- Emergency assembly area floor markings(outdoor)
- Fire Department access floor markings (outdoor)
- Smoke curtains separating the fire compartments (in addition to brandwand)
Other Requirements:
- Consultation within the building application
- Consultation for the use permit
- Advice regarding sprinkler system, fire alarm system
Required Qualification:
- Occupational safety specialist ( Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit )
- Fire protection officer ( Brandschutzbeauftragte )
- Safety and Health Coordinator “Sigeko” (Sicherheits- und Gesundheitskoordinator) and Specialist construction manager (Fachbauleiter) necessary as of EA
- Must be resident in Germany ( Work takes place remotely as well as on site)
