Tasks:
• The scope includes the installation, maintenance, filtering, repair and modification of information and telecommunications technology (such as electrical and data cabling, data transmission, instrumentation, telephone systems, transmission and switching technology). The work may also concern the dismantling of the above systems. The following tasks can i.a. Be part of:
• Work on power supply lines including work on electrical subdistribution or Batt- / UPS systems
• Work on electrical installations on AC and DC systems
• Work on data transmission lines (copper and glass fiber)
• Work on system technology including installation, configuration, integration, interference suppression and dismantling.
• working in high-altitude workplaces (such as ladders, scaffolding or lifting equipment)
• Making measurements on cabling and system techniques using appropriate meters (e.g., Optical Power Meter, Ethernet Tester, ISDN Tester, SDH / PDH Meter, Optical Spectrum Analyzer, OTDR Meter, or Voltage Tester)
• Implementation of filtering in coordination with the customer
• Compliance with all regulations, in particular occupational health and safety and fire protection
• Responsibility for occupational health and fire safety at the construction site for all employees
• Responsible for the proper completion notification of the construction site both at the customer and the responsible site supervisor / project manager / project assistant or the NMC
• Technical documentation of the work carried out
• Create credentials
• Management of a construction diary / time sheet
• The field service technician can also support the planning of the o.g. Activities are used at the customer.
• The above works are i.d.R. within the normal working time. However, if required, the work may also become necessary outside normal working hours.
• There is no time limit for on-call clearance operations (ie 24/7).
Functions can be transferred to the job holder.

Conditions:
• A successfully completed training in an electrical or telecommunications profession (or equivalent)
• Driving license class BE
• Ready to install throughout Germany
• Standby readiness (24/7)
• Linguistic proficiency
• German: business fluent (spoken and written)
• English: written and spoken (at least advanced basic knowledge)
• IT skills (including MS Office and Telnet client)
