Functional safety freelance role- 12 month contract- €110p/h- Frankfurt- January startDue to their rapid growth on the market, my client is looking for a functional safety expert to start in January on a 12 Month contract. They are searching urgently for a freelancer to allow for the introduction of new and exciting automotive technology across their new range of vehicles. You will be at the forefront of the company's projects across 2020.
The following knowledge and skills are essential:
- Good understanding of system engineering principles (V-cycle)
- Able to conduct FMEA and safety analysis
- Proven ability in electrical/electronic design
- Control strategies and algorithms development
- Real-time embedded C software implementation
- Testing through appropriate software and hardware platform
Experience of any of the following would be an advantage:
- Battery management systems or comparable complex safety critical system
- Working with high voltage and high energy systems, including high current DC switching
- Basic operation of Lithium-Sulphur and Lithium-Ion chemistry
- VB coding of diagnostics software
- Coding to MISRA C
- Functional Safety in line with ISO26262
- Modelling and Simulation
- LabView and Matlab/Simulink
