Tasks:
- Develop the Electrical Functional Safety Concept from FuSa system definition for a complex electrical system with modern processors and high speed interfaces for automotive ECUs in cooperation with the team
- Develop HW requirements and circuit additions acc. to the customers Safety Goals
- Design failure detection mechanisms with the EE
- Define a FuSa test specification for the ECU and support the test execution
- Participate in FMEAs and focus on FuSa relevant topics (random failure)
- Do reviews of work products with focus on FuSa needs
- Support the FuSa electrical engineer and FuSa system engineer with information on the electrical design.
Skills:
- Very good knowledge of Altium and Medini Analyze
- Profound working experience with PTC Integrity (MKS) / Windchill
- Experience in requirement management and specification
- Knowledge of high speed digital designs with DDR3/DDR4 and complex power supplies for automotive ECUs
- 3-5 years experience in EE of ASIL B(D) designs for automotive electronics
- Fluent English, German is a plus
- Your documentation skills are on a very high level
- You are used to review work products insistently (schemactics and others) and adapt where needed
- You should be open to discuss ideas, problems and solutions with your team
- You need to be open to cooperate with the international sites of Magna Electronics in the US, Taiwan and China.
