One of our prestigious clients is looking for a German speaking senior test manager to join their existing team for a permanent position.Our client is a leader in the field of testing and software quality assurance. For interesting and exciting projects at the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, our client is looking for qualified employees with several years of professional experience in Test Management.
The project assignments can be both national and international.
You will be responsible for complying with the testing process and the quality of the test concept. Topics are test planning, including resource planning, test object definition, test basic definition, test execution and test evaluation in your other responsibilities.
Tasks required:
. Management and control of the test team
. All-encompassing responsibility for the test project
. Implementation of operational and conceptual consulting tasks with a focus on testing processes and test organization
. Conception, coordination and control of all testing activities in major projects of their customers
. Competent main contact for all areas involved in all test cycles
. Further development of methods and process models in test management
. Selection and adaptation of suitable test methods and testing tools, as well as training and coaching in their use
. Creating test statuses reports and undertake all measures necessary to correct problems.
. Development and implementation of meaningful metrics for measuring test progress and evaluating the quality of the testing and the product
. Definition and monitoring of quality objectives using the latest quality and maturity models
. Fault Management to increase the quality and productivity
Mandatory skills:
. University degree in computer science, business or equivalent education / qualification
. At least 2 years' experience in test management, if possible with the certification as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager CT
. In-depth knowledge in HP ALM Test Tool
. Experience in complex, global projects as Test Manager, and in the conception, planning and execution of tests
. In-depth experience in the testing process design, as well as in test design techniques and methods
. Customer and solution orientation with appropriate quality awareness
. Business process know-how in the automotive sector would be desirable
. High teamwork and communication skills
. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for project assignments
. Good German and English skills
. Analytical thinking
