Project Details
Our Frankfurt-based client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to develop a new regulatory reporting system.
Location
The project manager is expected to be based in Eschborn. Occasionally, travelling to London will be
required.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager is fully responsible for the management of the end to end project delivery. An estimation for the current phase has been done with WDs for specification, development and test.
The fully responsibility of the requested project manager is in particular:
- Communication and coordination with the requirements team, as well as the approval of the requirements, given that the requirement phase has already started.
- Leading and controlling IT stages of the project life cycle from initiation, design, delivery and test to post implementation, adhering to known project methodologies and best practices.
- Full responsibility to delivery from design and specification to testing and implementation within time, scope, quality and budget.
- Management of scope from project initiation to implementation including customer readiness and infrastructure/operations setup to the project closing.
- Managing the implementation together with the member readiness team from MD&S Sales.
- Effective management of project and business risks.
- Correct budget and cost management or the project.
Requirements on the Project Manager
Qualification
Project management methods must be known and must have been used in former projects (such as PMI or IPMA). A project management certification is of advantage.
Additional requirements:
- Extensive experience with IT Project management and controlling
- Very good communication skills, empathy and the ability to work in a team
- Good experience with Microsoft Project
- Knowledge in Clarity
Language Proficiency
Project languages are German and English. Thus, written and spoken German and English are required.
Skills
- Knowledge of the regulatory directives of financial markets and instruments
- Experience in building of Client Server applications incl. IT security requirements
- Skills regarding development methodology and technical infrastructure
