Act as the Customs Compliance and Reporting Business Analyst, responsible for the design, build, test and cutover activities required to activate functionality for a Bonded warehouse, including training.
The implementation of the new leased EMEA RDC with a bonded warehouse - located in Eppingen Germany- using SAP-WM and Foreign Trade with integration to SAP APO (upstream) and SAP-CRM (7.0) and SAP-BW (downstream), with additional integration to satellite systems like Atlas and process Weaver.
Activation of integration points with existing Warehouses in Europe. Main project goals:
Match demand and supply flow in the EMEA region.
Enable the warehouse to operate with minimal disruptions or loss to goods while it caters to direct markets including UK and indirect markets
Enable smooth transition of MEA customers from ABU (American Business Unit) based demand and replenishment to EMEA based supply chain
Addressing foreign trade requirements in the EMEA region including honoring sanction list, legal control, customs and Intrastat reporting
Interfacing effectively with external systems like Atlas and Process Weaver
Enable batch management to handle battery expiry related requirements
Handling returns logistics without issues Using allocation features to honor demand effectively with minimal manual intervention
All intercompany and intracompany transactions are honored and posted as per finance guidelines
