Client Service Officer, 1st Level Support, German, Finance

With its activities to prepare for a migration to Target2-Securities and to enhance its services, the client is planning to increase the Client Services team to support clients in the migration preparation and execution.
The Client Services team coordinates and tracks all required activities in order to ensure the technical and operational readiness from a Clients/Markets and Group Readiness perspective.
As Client Service Officer, you act as the point of contact for our clients on all queries relating to changes in settlement, cash and custody. Service-oriented and competent, you will inform clients on the upcoming changes in the client's business as well as provide ongoing support and information.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Provide first level support for any queries or issues raised by the client related to the changes in services
- Investigate, monitor, record and resolve any queries or issues raised by the client, mainly over the phone and in writing
- Issue solving in close cooperation with other project teams
- Follow-up their problems and questions in a client focused approach
- Ensure continuous and consistent client tracking, document detailed readiness status, escalate if required and provide related reporting on a regular basis
Qualifications/Skill Profiles
- Fluency in written & spoken German and English.
- Understanding of financial markets and instruments is fundamental as well as knowledge of clearing and settlement processes
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent phone communication and negotiation skills
- Accuracy, highly organized, ability to maintain up to date knowledge in a fast changing environment and assume responsibility
- Strong team player in a multicultural environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
