Beschreibung
- The Technical Expert is responsible for System Engineering (system analysis, system design, system development) of VoIP services.- The Technical expert is developing the conceptual design (technical architecture) and the detailed technical solution (engineering guide) of VoIP services in the arena of Unified Communications, SIP-Trunking and Video Communication.
- He guarantees the technical functionality of the developed solution while it is built within the transition and transformation project.
- This function especially includes the analysis of customer demands, the conversion of the requirements into a technical specification, the calculation of production costs for the technical components (e.g. not the operational costs), the solution engineering, including the consideration of the SLA specifications on a technical level.
- In transition and transformation phase he supports operations (PLVT or GCS) to realize the technical concept up to a pilot (e.g. central components or first customer site).
- He is not responsible for the complete realization of a technical solution, e.g. rollout of all customer sites or endpoints.
- He is not acting as a project manager for managing planning, conception and implementation of the contractually agreed voice services.
General requirements:
- Takes full responsibility for the technical engineering of a voice solution (SIP-Trunk (BV-Connect, CSIPG), UC-Cisco, UC-SEN).
- Check the proposed solution design against changes driven by new customer requirements and new capabilities of the operation organization
- Adapt the proposed solution according the confirmed changes, considering stability, costs and compliance rules
- Ensure compliance with standards of organization.
- Enable lifecycle management though proper documentation
- Support problem management for a customer solution
Communication / reports:
- Regular communication with Transition and Transformation Management regarding technical solution development status.

- Technical architecture for FMO (including technical aspects)
- Technical Solution migration concept from CMO to CMO+ and FMO - Broad and deep knowledge about current VoIP technologies, Unified Communication (specialized on vendors Cisco and SEN), SIP Trunking, Video communication and underlying network technologies (LAN, WAN, IP) and products
- Products and platforms (BVoIP Connect, Corporate SIP Germany, UC Cisco, UC SEN, Corporate Video)
- ICT Analysis, Architecture & Design (IAD)/Production Engineering/ Voice & Unified Communication/Corporate Video (Cisco/Tandberg)/ Voice & Video - Session Initiated Protocol (SIP)/ VoIP Integration
