Ort: Hamburg
Description:
Our customer has a Project with a shipyard in Italy where he delivers a SDCN (Ship Digital Communication Network).
The high level scope of work is delivery of:
1. Network Infrastructure
a. Core Layer
b. Distribution Layer
c. Network Configuration
d. Racks
e. Power
f. Servers
g. Storage
2. Wireless Infrastructure
3. Audio/Video Services
a. Broadcast
b. Camera Connections
c. On Board TV
4. Voice Solution
5. CCTV
6. Clocks
7. Integration SPMS(Ship Property Management System)
As you can see this is quite an extensive scope, so there will be multiple parties involved.
Necessary skills:
We are looking for a Server/Storage expert, who can provide out customer with:
Architecture in detail for setup (vmotion, iscsi ...) DNS/DHCP ...
SAN config
VLANs for SPMS, VoIP, WiFi, CCTV , ...
Of course storage/vmware expert will have to suggest:
- raid config
- replication config
- storage
- storage adapters
- network, vswitch setup
- ...
What our customer has at this moment:
He has a BOM with the equipment he will use.
High level per datacenter (2 in total for redundancy):
Equipment Dell: 2 x FX2 per DC
5 FC630 nodes per DC
2 Compellent SANs per DC
Synchronous replication requested
vCloud Suite 5 Advanced VMWare licenses
