Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Berlin
Remote: Partly possible
Your tasks:
• to deliver high-quality product documentation that helps customers understand and use the product
• to help improve processes for how content is created, delivered, and maintained
• to work closely with the subject matter experts
• advocating for product and documentation innovation on behalf of the customer
• Own documentation projects from start to finish, working with limited supervision
Your experience
• 5 years in a technical writing role (internal and public-facing content on highly technical subject matter)
• Fundamental knowledge of information technology, networking, or software development
• Working directly with engineers and other technical subject matter experts
• Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field, with proven, advanced skills in grammar, and technical editing and writing
Your skills:
• excellent communication skills and a technical background that enables you to interact effectively with Engineering teams, Product Managers, and Technical Program Managers.
• a demonstrated ability to start with the customer and work backwards, collaborate with subject matter experts and peers, and quickly grasp new technical concepts with enthusiasm
• Demonstrated ability to develop expertise in the products and services that you document by using them as a customer would
