As a Senior Experience Designer at ThoughtWorks, here's what you can look forward to:
• Working on exciting design-led technology delivery projects helping German and international clients transform their businesses and to develop innovative new digital products and services.
• Undertaking user research activities on projects, employing different methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interview, experiments, user testing and the like, and promote the use of research methods to clients and colleagues alike.
• Create compelling design ideas, concepts and solutions, facilitate workshop activities involving ideation and sketching and manage small teams of stakeholders to facilitate co-design practices.
• Creating awesome design deliverables in your given focus areas, working with other team members to truly make things happen for our client's business.
• Work with technology delivery teams to bring designs to life, conduct testing and actively contribute for all things design as part of a multidisciplinary team on client sites.
• Contribute to the development of design methods, tools, and new and emerging techniques within the growing experience design community at ThoughtWorks.
Here's what you'll bring:
• Strong experience (minimum 4 years) in at least two design areas including digital product design, user experience, UI/interaction design, visual design, service design, or other related design disciplines.
• Ability to initiate and create a wide range of experience design deliverables by yourself or collaborating with designers and developers with different skills - deliverables including journey maps, service blueprints, roadmaps, digital and physical prototypes, interface and visual designs.
• You can clearly explain design concepts to clients and technical colleagues with strong rationale based on user insight.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate across disciplines within the company and with clients.
• Work with clients and other key stakeholders throughout projects, ensuring buy- in for design directions and gaining trust in the ability of the team.
• Work with ThoughtWorks stakeholders engaged with other aspects of the client’s business on the impact of your work as it impacts scope, risks, and communicate updates to the broader client team.
