We are currently looking for an expert on area of CPE HomeGateway
Start: End October 2016
Duration: 3 month roll-over contracts)
Location: Düsseldorf

Role purpose:
To define technical hardware and software specifications/definitions for connected and smart home devices such as gateways in conjunction with the clients key operating companies and device suppliers
Day-to-day:
- Identify and drive innovative hardware concepts for fixed broadband devices and manage hardware
roadmap.
- Manage and drive the detailed technical hardware and software specification, development and delivery for
fixed broadband (eg xDSL, Fibre, Cable, LTE) and smart home devices in line with market needs.
- Stakeholder management
- Manage risks and resolve issues to ensure programmes are delivered on time and to budget.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- Expert knowledge in fixed broadband technologies incl. country specific flavours (egxDSL, Fibre, Cable)architecture
- Home gateway experience
- Expert knowledge in system design of CPE devices (WiFi, SoC's, RAM, Flash, SLIC, FXS, PHY), telecommunication SoC's (PGMII, PCIe, SPI, UART, PCM, Ethernet, USB, GPIO), CPE remote management (CWMP, TR69, data models, ACS)
- Strong knowledge in telecommunication protocols (DNS, DHCP, SIP, IPv4/6, VLAN, IPTV)
- Experience in leading the technical development (R&D background) of fixed broadband devices in a technology environment
- Experience in influencing multiple senior stakeholders across different business disciplines
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English/able to work in an English speaking environment
- Independent, pro-active work attitude
