Programme Manager (Interim/contract)
Our German based client is looking for an interim Programme Manager to drive a reduction of quality costs including long-term service and repair contracts and customer claims or penalties as a result of rectifying defects within a large-scale engineering environment.
Candidates must have experience gained at heavy/capital equipment/engineered businesses (eg aerospace; rail; plant engineering; capital equipment)
The successful candidate will be a transformation leader with strong project management, analytics and change management expertise alongside a mix of engineering and commercial procurement.
The role involves the following at a Programme Leader level:
- Analysing quality costs and budget
- Designing and executing short-term programme to drive costs down including
- Managing supplier negotiations for lower component prices
- Managing supplier negotiations for external services providers
- Design inputs into retrofit solutions
- Supplier negotiations on potential claims
- Working with different departments to execute above changes, including Procurement, Service, and R&D
knowledge of German would be useful but not essential.
