Tasks & Responsibilities
- Drive independently transformation of organization and/or business processes as well as implement a global template in the area of - Travel & Expense Reimbursement (T&E) with focus on Travel request & booking process
- Functional role (this is a non-technical position)
- Stakeholder management experience at a high level is essential
- Continuous improvement and development of T&E global process template. Monitoring and evaluation, selection and implementation of standards, new developments and best practices
- Ensure governance over process design as well as specifications for business processes and system transformation
- Manage compliance issues in the area of T&E
- Independent management of (international) project teams including scoping, preparation, implementation and follow-up of project milestones and complex workshops
- Act as Functional Business Expert in the area of Travel in GBS and drive cross functional topics with Category Management, Sourcing, MDM, HR, IT, AP and A2R
Requirements
- Business Administration degree or similar
- Sound knowledge in Travel & Expense Reimbursement (T&E)
- Several years of experience in business process transformation in the area of T&E; ideally complemented with corresponding system expertise in these areas (eg CONCUR travel request & online booking tool, expense reimbursement, SAP FI module)
- Flexibility and agility to cope with challenging priorities in the area of T&E; solution-driven mind-set
- Extensive experience in project management and in the guidance of international project teams. Ability to manage complex, large scale initiatives in the area of T&E
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry and related compliance rules and requirements (eg GxP, Computer System Validation)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a variety of communication settings and styles as well as the ability to make decisions in a timely manner
- Willingness to travel on regular basis (>30%) - internationally minded
- The international nature of the task requires being fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages would be an advantage
