Today I would like to inform you about a freelance Project in Hamburg, which could be interesting for you or someone of your network. Here our key client of the wind energy sector is looking for an electrical Position as an offshore electrical engineer with one of our international key clients in the wind industry.Your responsibilities will include:
* the electrical design and the installation of the electrical systems within the electrical offshore substation (EOS) and transition piece (TP) and the interfaces with the wind turbine
* support to ensure high quality production, optimized logistic and reliable operation of the inner park cable
* reviewing the technical aspects of the contract and ensuring the designs (project requirements, applicable codes, norms EC&R internal standards and regulatory requirements)
* leading the engineering meetings and workshops and for the tracking and the negotiation of Claims
* defining and managing the electrical design
* planning and supporting of the offshore commissioning of LV/MV systems/components and the SCADA-system of the Transition Piece
Requirements:
* Degree as Electrical Engineer
* extensive knowledge of electrical MV and LV systems, at the construction and operation phase
* working knowledge of international project work in the offshore industry, completion standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria
* know-how to implement the practices, processes and expectations with respect to installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
* Fluent in English (written and verbal) German or French would be an advantage
* GWO certificates (working at Height, offshore medical, first aid, sea survival) or the willingness to obtain those on own costs within the Project time

* Duration: approx. 18 months
