We are currently searching for several positions within the Cloud/Big Data Environment for one of the largest Energy organisations in the world. This is a freelance project based in Essen 4 days onsite and 1 day remote until the end of the year with the option to extend.
Job Description
- Managing a complex cloud infrastructure with hundreds of VMs
- Improving the security and authorization concept
- Automating recurring tasks and processes
- Supporting development teams
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design
- Work in an agile environment
Your profile
- Experience administrating and maintaining Linux systems
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and providers, especially Microsoft Azure
- Experience and deep understanding of computer networks including IP-networks, VPN connections, Firewalls
- Experience with authentication and authorization concepts and tools like OpenLDAP, Kerberos
- Experience with infrastructure automation and especially the tool Chef
- Knowledge of Hadoop would be a plus
- Experience in Scripting, Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code
- Willingness to acquire new skills, the out-of-the-box thinking
- Experienced with agile methods like Kanban or Scrum
- English language on a high proficiency
