BSS System Maintenance Engineer - 3 month contract - €700 per day - Dusseldorf.
Job location: Germany - Dusseldorf
Work for the world leader in ICT Solutions as a BSS Systems Maintenance Engineer in Dusseldorf for an initial 3 month contract.
Main Responsibilities:
* Proving clear leadership and direction to the Operations team (Onsite & Offshore) for the quality service of maintenance for the Live Production Environments (CCS) that currently serves more than 2M customers and which is a critical platform for both and our client Vodafone;
* Building a strong trusted relationship with the client Vodafone and ensuring that he/she are properly informed of the company's actions and plans in the Operations domain;
* Improving the stake-holder management across the different levels within our client Vodafone that touches the Operations domain; the company wants to grow in this area and this is important for achieving this;
* Strengthen the capability of the company's Operations team and its output in terms of Quality of service, Meaningful reports that can be shared with top management; stability and predictability of the CCS Production platform;
* At all times act on-behalf of the company, meaning do not explain that you are external but act as if you are a company employee both internally and with our client Vodafone;
* Streamline the daily operations, ie fulfilling our SLA's with our client Vodafone, incident and problem management, organizing planned deployments and release management, improving our life cycle patch deployment,
* Build-up a strong team spirit with people that enjoy coming to work;
* Formal and informal reporting on a regular basis to the PD on the CCS programme;
Requirements:
* English fluency both verbal and writing is essential
* Works effectively in situations involving uncertainty, change, or lack of information.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Good communication skills
* Self-starter with ability and ambition to work remotely, onsite with a specific customer for extended or dedicated periods of time.
* Ability to work across groups by setting mutual goals, ensuring clarity of roles, and working together in ways which enhance business effectiveness
* Able to work on a multi-cultural environment
* Over-night work needed sometime because of the technical operation on the customer production environment.(But company will pay the allowance)
