SAP Data Manager/MDM-Experte (m/w)We are an IT service provider for projects, expert leasing and personnel procurement. We work with around 800 employees for well-known and renowned enterprises.
For one of our clients in Niedersachsen we are currently looking for a freelance SAP MDM Specialist.
Aufgabenbeschreibung:
Owns, develops, and implements processes to ensure accuracy and security of SAP Master Data records and systems. Coordinates and assists in execution of activities related to the creation and maintenance of Master Data records and systems. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and security of SAP Master Data records and managing the activities of Master Data Administrators in communicating throughout the company all Master Data policies, procedures and key impact changes Established metrics, measurements, maintenance and review procedures to successfully network the Master Data system across company departments.
• Manages the design and development of the MDM (Master Data Management) strategy, including defining the overall technical architecture integration strategy
• Designs MDM landscape (physical and logical)
• Defines needed tuning requirements for MDM installation
• Defines monitoring requirements needed for overall MDM architecture
• Manages, directs, and leads Master Data Administrator team
• Establishes processes to ensure accurate and timely flow of information related to the processing of Master Data
• Establishes metrics to measure and benchmark accuracy of the Master Data systems
• Develops maintenance and review procedures to ensure Master Data is current
• Performs analysis and reporting of information from Master Data files to assist others in the execution of business activities
• Provide instruction and guidance to others using Master Data records and files
• Coordinates testing of changes to systems
• Communicates Master Data policies and procedures to appropriate audiences
• Manages the program schedule, budget, risks, communication, requirements, design and development of the MDM roadmap strategy.
• Creates effective correspondence, instruction and guidance to all company employees on successful usage of Master Data information
Anforderungen:
• Hands-on experience with the SAP Master Data Management infrastructure
• Solid knowledge on SAP platform and products. Understanding of how MDM integrates with SAP, Basis, and other SAP modules
• Deep understanding of Master Data schema development, access business rules, and master data design and migration processes
• Experience with account hierarchy/item hierarchy/categorization design and development
• Exposure to data governance, stewardship, and cleansing methodologies is preferred.
• Monitoring and communicating overall data enterprise master data project plans, priorities and progress against clients' requirements.
• Expertise in establishing standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise Master Data issues such as data convergence, data standards and data synchronization.
• Ability to promote, educate and consult on enterprise Master Data strategies and best practices to clients and other affected teams.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise Master Data in support of business, operations and technology teams. Business understanding of master data and how the data is used
• Can work effectively with industry, business, technical IT and key external partners to identify, define and drive the implementation of SAP MDM functionality.
• Requires execution capability in all facets of project management and software development lifecycle phases. Ensure customer expectations are met.
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
• Ability to work across functions
• Knowledge of industry trends (e.g. SOA) and techniques related to data management is preferred.
Experience
• 8 years or more overall IT experience.
• Minimum of 4 years experience implementing and supporting SAP systems.
• Experience with the following: MDM objects and clients, MDM content Integrator, MDM analytics in BW
• SAP R/3 Enterprise or NetWeaver certification a plus.
• Has managed or mentored small to large teams
• Experience with system testing and/or system installation
• A successful track record in analysis, design and execution of interdepartmental business processes.
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel is highly desirable
• Project Management experience is required.
