Our client, a telecoms company in Germany, currently seeks two OSS Solution Engineers for a 12 month project assignment on an internal project.
As an OSS engineer, you are responsible for the operation of an operational support tools: Provisioning, NMS, ticketing, inventory & mapping. You ensure the proper functioning of tools for internal customers and if necessary, interfacing with BSS platforms.
Job description- Make sure the selected OSS platform is configured and dimensioned to meet the needs ofthe projects.
- Be directly involved with the Architectural design of the Transformation
- Be available and attentive to the demands of end customers platforms
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in OSS/NMS infrastructure as well as associated tools.
Provide preventive maintenance activities for the systems under administration - Participate in on-call duty service.
- Produce and maintain quality standards and documents
- Liaise with customers and/or vendors as point of contact at technical level.
- Experience with various OSS Tools
- Knowledge of OSS Architecture in a Telco environment
- Experience with Transformation projects is nice to have
- Fluency in a European language would be a huge bonus
