WebSphere MQ Administrator
Task and responsibilities
- Installation and support of WebSphere MQ managers
- Assist migrations and upgrades of WebSphere MQ versions.
- Support development and test teams using WebSphere MQ
- MQ support of customer connections
- Installation of WebSphere MQ Managers and MQ-Clusters
- Develop and maintain monitoring of MQ environments and customer connections
- Creating and updating internal MQ environment documentation
- Project work in assisting in new WebSphere MQ application design
Mandatory skills and experience
- Several years of experience IBM WebSphere MQ Series Administrator on UNIX or Redhat Linux and/or MQ Series Administrator on zOS
- Several years of experience with WebSphere MQ v6 and v7
- Experience with platform and version migrations
- knowledge of SSL with MQ
- WebSphere MQ Cluster
- Unix/Linux Shell Scripting skills
- Fluent in German and English
Optional skills
- Experience with BMC QPASA and Cressida ReQuest
